What is COBRA?
The Consolidated Omnibus Reconciliation Act allows you to temporarily continue group health insurance coverage (as well as dental, vision and other coverage) after you’ve lost your job. Under COBRA, you pay 100% of the premium cost, including the share your employer used to pay, plus an administrative fee.
